- I am an engineer in Saint Louis, Missouri. I created this blog partially out of succumbing to peer pressure, partly out of a desire to explore my right brain a little more. If it's boring, remember: I'm an engineer. I'll do my best. The title comes from me being a little bit of a perfectionist who also happens to worry excessively about not being perfect. Beyond that, there are numerous possible interpretations of the title that I can think of, and they all seem to apply, so I won't elaborate further.

I feel like the development of this blog is much like meeting my old roommate Emaly. First an empty room waiting for a new roommate. The next day the walls were all a different color. The next day furniture appeared. Every time I poked my head in something new, bedspreads, baskets, plants, then coordinated pillows. This went on for a week or so until at last, the infamous Emaly moved in. Welcome to the world of blogging.
This is really funny, albeit a little blasphemous.
And truly it was a great beginning.
